Our Community: A Circle of Companions

Picture-AlumniPageWhen you come through the door at Life/Work Direction we receive you as a traveling companion. Your life and work are of importance – not only to you, but to us and our ever-widening circle of fellow pilgrims seeking to discover their purpose in life. Since the discovery process is life-long, the companionship is especially valuable.

A Network

As you complete the vocational process we try to connect you with a network of persons within our circle or beyond who can continue to support your journey toward fulfillment in both life and work. With our assistance, sometimes small groups of persons with common interests or concerns are spontaneously spawned.

A Continuing Conversation

We invest in an ongoing conversation by inviting you on retreats we regularly offer where you can meet other kindred souls and re-engage in reflection around the purpose and direction of your lives.

To further cultivate this conversation we publish a quarterly e-letter, Companions, that features stories and reflections from within our community for continued learning.

A Circle of Support

Life/Work Direction, a 501c3 non-profit organization, receives just half of its income from program fees; the other half comes from the generous support of our donors, most of whom have participated in our programs.  To contribute in this way, use this link:

Many of our companions regularly support the ministry in prayer by requesting a monthly prayer update sent via email. To join this circle of support email us at info@lifeworkdirection.org. Others play valuable roles as volunteers at our retreats and Discovery Weekend workshops.
