Life/Work Direction Staff
Louise Walker brings to her current work twenty-five years of experience encouraging the spiritual development of students, and generous reflection from her marriage and parenting life. Louise completed a degree in psychology, followed by training in clinical pastoral care and becoming a veteran leader within a national healing prayer ministry.
Scott Walker has spent the past twenty years leading programs in experiential learning, helping people envision their lives of purpose in the world. He first worked in the inner city developing a service internship program for young adults, and then spent ten years teaching history. He has a graduate degree in Education. Since 1997, he has committed himself to establishing the Threshold Group program with his wife Louise. He exercises his gifts in crafting the curriculum for all of Life/Work Direction’s group programs and relates to the broader constituency of Life/Work Direction’s alumni and donors.
Heather Sheldon has tasted nearly every program that Life/Work Direction has to offer. She brings to the work 10 years of helping college students integrate life and faith as well as 10 years of church based pastoral ministry working alongside her husband, Bob. Heather is currently the mom to two young children which daily opens rich opportunities for learning.
Connie Choi serves as Life/Work Direction’s financial administrator with 6 years of Accounting experience. This is her first exposure to learning about spiritual direction in the everyday life of an individual. She joins the team to support the mission and aid in the daily operations of the organization.
